Disabling And Deleting Cookies

Microsoft Internet Explorer

Safari

Delete history, cache, and cookies

Here's how to clear information from your device:
  1. To clear your history and cookies, tap Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. Clearing your history, cookies, and browsing data from Safari won't change your AutoFill information. 
  2. To remove other stored information, tap Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data.
  3. To visit sites without leaving a history, turn private browsing on or off. 

When there's no history or website data to clear, the setting turns grey. The setting might also be grey if parental controls are set for websites. To check your settings, go to Settings > General > Restrictions, then scroll to Allowed Content. 


Block cookies

  1. Tap Settings > Safari > Block Cookies.

Mozilla Firefox

To check or change your settings:
  1. Click the menu button and choose Options. 
  2. Select the Privacy panel and go to the History section. 
  3. In the drop-down menu next to Firefox will: choose Use custom settings for history.
  4. Check mark Accept cookies from sites to enable cookies and uncheck it to disable them.
  5. Choose how long cookies are allowed to be stored:  Keep until: they expire: Each cookie will be removed when it reaches its expiration date, which is set by the site that sent the cookie. I close Firefox: The cookies that are stored on your computer will be removed when Firefox is closed.
  6. Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.

Privacy Cookies: If you are troubleshooting problems with cookies, make sure Accept third party cookies is also not set to Never.

Opera
